Welcome to my page on the internet. My name is Alyssa McKillip and I am from
Portland,
Oregon in the
United States. The state of
Oregon is known for its beautiful coast along the Pacific Ocean, tall pine trees and mountains such as
Mt. Hood and the active volcano,
Mount St. Helens.
I attended
Lawrence University in
Appleton, Wisconsin where I received a Bachelor of Music in vocal performance. Next I attended
Portland State University in
Portland, Oregon
where I received my teaching certifications in Elementary Education and
Special Education, as well as a Master’s Degree in Special Education.
Prior to moving to
Shanghai, I taught for two years in a special education resource room in
Puyallup, Washington. My husband and I are now in our fourth year teaching in Shanghai, China. Thanks for checking out my website.
